Berlin born Helmut Newton, 55, who opens his exhibition of erotic photography at the Photographers Gallery in Great Newport Street today (1976). Mt Newton, a top fashion photographer, believes his pictures are the thing of the future and many of his most sensual photographs have been published in American Vogue.
