B.C. expands public health restrictions as COVID-19 cases surge

It's now mandatory to wear face coverings in public spaces in B.C. and new restrictions on social gatherings are in place across the province until at least Dec. 7. The new public health orders came Thursday as provincial health officer Dr. Bonnie Henry said the latest wave of the illness is stretching intensive care capacity in B.C.
