B.C. health officer says stay safe on Mother's Day
Provincial health officer Dr. Bonnie Henry says honouring mother's on Mother's Day during the COVID-19 pandemic means practising safe distancing and staying away if sick. She says as much as people want to hug their moms, avoiding close contact is what's best at this time. Henry reported 15 new COVID-19 cases and two deaths, bringing B.C.'s total number of deaths to 129.
