B.C. records 11 new COVID-19 deaths, increases total deaths to 69

Provincial health officer Dr. Bonnie Henry says 11 people have died from COVID-19 in British Columbia since Saturday, bringing the provincial total to 69 deaths. She says there are 45 new COVID-19 cases, raising the total to 1,490. Henry says the majority of the COVID-19 outbreaks are at 20 long-term care facilities, but concerns are mounting about the confirmation of novel coronavirus at the federal correctional facility at Mission where there are now 35 positive cases and eight people in hospital.
