Bill on training for judges heads to committee

The House of Commons has unanimously approved in principle — for the third time — a bill that would require judges to commit to take training in sexual assault law. The Liberals say the proposed legislation, originally put forward by former interim Conservative leader Rona Ambrose, is critical to ensuring confidence in the justice system.
