Augusto Pinochet waves to supporters from the chapel where he attended Mass, at his farm in Bucalemu, near Santiago, Chile, Sunday, March 11, 2001, under house arrest at his countryside residence. Pinochet, the fierce anti-communist dictator who ruled Chile with an iron fist from 1973 to 1990, died Sunday, Dec. 10, 2006 from heart complications, the Santiago Military hospital reported.
