CP HISTORICAL ARCHIVE: THE CANADIAN PRESS HISTORIC BUREAU
A corner of the Candian Press offices in the Associated Press building on Farringdon Street in London, England, February 23, 1951. The previous AP building was destroyed in a bombing raid on December 29, 1940, and both agencies had been in borrowed quarters since then. On the second floor of the building, member’s of CP’s London Bureau staff are shown preparing the daily budget of cable reports for Canadian newspapers. Left to right are E.S.
