CP LEGER POLL BILINGUALISM

A new poll reveals a stark divide between Quebec and the rest of Canada about whether the country should be bilingual. The survey by Leger suggests 83% of Quebecers think it is important that Canada remains an officially bilingual country, while only 43% of respondents from the rest of Canada shared this view. The Canadian Press has prepared a graphic looking at some results from the poll. This accompanies Can-Bilingualism-Survey
