CRIME-SHARPE-PORN

John Robin Sharpe, 67, leaves B.C. Supreme Court on Wednesday, January 23, 2002 during a break in his trial for two counts of possessing child pornography and two for the purpose of distribution. His lawyer is arguing the legitimacy of the search warrant used to search Sharpe's home. Sharpe launched a constitutional challenge on Canada's child pornography possession law that put child pornography cases on hold across Canada. The trial is on its third day and is expected to last about three weeks. (CP PHOTO/Richard Lam)
