Canada must use 'every resource available' to save Schellenberg's life

NDP Leader Jagmeet Singh says Canada should use every tool available to save the life of Robert Schellenberg, a Canadian whose death sentence in a drug case has been upheld by a Chinese court. He also says Ottawa should apply pressure on Beijing to secure the release of entrepreneur Michael Spavor and former diplomat Michael Kovrig, detained on spying charges in 2018 in apparent retaliation for Canada’s detention of Huawei executive Meng Wanzhou.
