Civil unrest over police violence gives fresh heft to Juneteenth in Tulsa

Black Americans gathered in Tulsa, Oklahoma, home of the infamous Black Wall Street massacre of 1921, to mark Juneteenth, the anniversary of the day slaves in Texas learned of their freedom. Bruce Carter led a protest against what he considers the very same injustices and systemic racism today.
