Conservatives question why MPs can't help with passport applications

The federal government says Service Canada employees are working "around the clock" to get through a backlog of passport applications, but there are still long lineups at many locations. Service Canada Minister Karina Gould says there hasn't been such high demand since 2006, when the U.S. first required Canadians to show a passport at the border.
