D-Day veteran narrates Juno Beach landing craft video from 1944

On June 6, 1944, about 14,000 young Canadians landed on a Normandy beach code-named Juno, part of an Allied invasion that marked the beginning of the end of the Second World War. Jim Parks, a rifleman with the Royal Winnipeg Rifles, landed on Juno Beach two minutes before the main assault wave and describes what it was like to be there.
