Firefighters continued to battle wildfires on the slopes of Mount Vesuvius, near Naples, in southern Italy, on Monday. Planes and helicopters flew hundreds of water-dropping missions while dozens of firefighters were still fighting to extinguish the blaze on the ground, Italy’s Firefighters Corps said.
