Junos award winners from pre-telecast celebration

The Junos Awards handed out more than 40 music prizes at a non-televised industry event in Vancouver on Saturday. Big winners at the pre-telecast included Haisla hip-hop duo Snotty Nose Rez Kids, TikTok star Jake Vaadeland, and Calgary-based Elizabeth Lowell Boland, who won the first songwriter of the year award. Meanwhile, children's singer Raffi says he's planning to write a song about democracy for young listeners. (March 30, 2025)
