Justice Minister promises bail-reform bill is imminent

Justice Minister David Lametti says legislation that will reform bail provisions for some repeat violent offenders is coming soon. Conservative public safety critic Raquel Dancho says the federal “catch-and-release” bail system meant a repeat violent offender was out on bail when he allegedly murdered a mother and daughter in Edmonton recently.
