Manitoba throne speech focuses on health care, pandemic recovery and economic growth

Manitoba's Progressive Conservative's annual throne speech focused on improving health care and offering more help to people impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic. Lt.-Gov. Janice Filmon presented the speech on behalf of Premier Heather Stefanson who says her government will address the nursing shortage with more training opportunities and she reiterated a previous pledge to set up a group to help clear the surgery backlogs created by the pandemic.
