Military largely helping with non-medical tasks in nursing homes

The Canadian Forces are moving in to help in long-term-care facilities in Quebec and Ontario, with much of their effort devoted to non-medical tasks like cleaning, food service and moving equipment, Gen. Jonathan Vance says. The military has doctors and nurses who are contributing as well, but in most cases caring for frail and older people is best done by people who are specifically trained for it.
