Ministers warn protesters, defend Emergencies Act as police take action

Federal cabinet ministers held a news conference to warn anti-vaccine mandate protesters of severe consequences if they refuse to leave downtown Ottawa, as police ramped up a major operation clear the demonstration. Ministers also defended the use of the Emergencies Act to enhance the powers of police and banks to take action against the protesters.
