National chief says 'no guarantees' of papal apology for residential schools

Assembly of First Nations National Chief Perry Bellegarde says Indigenous leaders will travel to the Vatican in December to formally invite Pope Francis to come to Canada with the hope he accepts, and decides to issue an apology for the Catholic Church's role in residential schools.
