Newsroom Ready: Canada pushing for more access to PS752 probe, Garneau says

Transport Minister Marc Garneau says Canada is pushing Iranian authorities to provide Canadian investigators with greater access to the Ukraine International Airlines flight PS752 probe. In a press conference, Garneau explains what that might mean, particularly for reading the plane’s flight data and voice recorders, known as the “black boxes.” An Iranian-fired surface-to-air missile downed the airliner minutes after takeoff from Tehran’s airport, killing all 176 people on board, including 57 Canadians.
