Newsroom Ready: Feds in talks with sitting judges to lead foreign interference inquiry: LeBlanc

Public Safety Minister Dominic LeBlanc says negotiations are underway with some sitting judges to lead an inquiry into foreign interference. LeBlanc also says he will speak to security officials about whether opposition leaders can get access to more secret materials on the issue. Conservative Leader Pierre Poilievre says that he would call a public inquiry if his party formed government. (Aug. 22, 2023)
