Newsroom Ready: Guilbeault disappointed Kenney won't join climate talks

New Environment Minister Steven Guilbeault says Canadians from coast to coast want action on climate change and he is disappointed that Alberta Premier Jason Kenney won't attend the COP26 climate talks next week. Meanwhile NDP Leader Jagmeet Singh is calling on the Liberals to commit to cutting emissions to 50 per cent below 2005 levels by 2030, above the 40 to 45 per cent promise they have made.
