Neskantaga First Nation in northern Ontario has has the longest boil-water advisory in the country at 29 years and growing. The Canadian Press visited the remote community to understand what life is like when the water is deemed unsafe to drink. Residents complain of skin and intestinal issues if they shower or drink the water. (Sep. 26, 2024)
