Newsroom Ready: Nunavut community to get deep water port

Infrastructure minister Catherine McKenna announced a $40 million deepwater port project in Iqaluit as the federal government prepares for a possible election. The Baffin Island community of Qikiqtarjuaq will see the port built in its community after decades of lobbying the federal government.
