Newsroom Ready: Ottawa doesn't want Indigenous kids testifying in court: Miller

Indigenous Services Minister Marc Miller says the government doesn’t want any Indigenous child to testify in Federal Court as Ottawa challenges two Canadian Human Rights Tribunal rulings involving First Nations children taken from their families. Miller says the government agrees these children deserve to be compensated but the question is whether they should all receive the same amount, or whether compensation should be proportional to harm suffered.
