    Newsroom Ready: Rouleau says Trudeau’s government justified in using Emergencies Act

    Justice Paul Rouleau spoke about the final report from the Public Order Emergency Commission, which has determined the Liberal government did meet the "very high threshold" for invoking the Emergencies Act. Prime Minister Justin Trudeau took the historic step on Feb. 14, 2022, as protests gripped downtown Ottawa and blocked traffic at a number of border crossings.
