Newsroom Ready: Trudeau government tables 'historic' Indigenous child welfare bill

Indigenous Services Minister Seamus O'Reagan has tabled an Indigenous child welfare bill aimed at stopping the over-representation of First Nations children in foster care. The government says the bill will place less emphasis on apprehension of children and promote more prevention and support measures.
