Gas station worker Elisa Millns, a West Kelowna resident for 10 years, had an ember literally fall on her while working and had a fire start behind her home. Fire information officer Nicole Bonnett describes the daily gathering of fire crews at a West Kelowna seniors’ centre before they go out on the lines to fight blazes threatening the embattled community. (Aug. 21, 2023)
