Obit-Richie Havens

FILE - In this July 26, 1994 file photo, Woodstock '69 veterans, from left, Melanie Safka, Judy Collins and Richie Havens get together at the Bendix Diner in New York. The trio introduced a "Declaration of Civility and Kindness" in honor of the Bethel '94 concert for the 25th Anniversary of Woodstock. Havens, who sang and strummed for a sea of people at Woodstock, has died at 72. His family says in a statement that Havens died Monday, April 22, 2013, of a heart attack.
