Ottawa extends missing and murdered Indigenous women inquiry

The feds are extending the mandate of the national inquiry into missing and murdered Indigenous women and girls by six months, until April 30, 2019. Crown-Indigenous Relations Minister Carolyn Bennett says survivors were consulted.
