Ottawa marks 80th anniversary of D-Day

More than 100 people in Ottawa crowded into the Cartier Drill Hall to commemorate the 80th anniversary of D-Day. Defence Minister Bill Blair and others lay wreaths to mark the bravery and sacrifice of Allied troops who stormed the beaches of Normandy in 1944 in a military operation that marked the beginning of the end of the Second World War.
