Prime Minister Mark Carney expresses shock over 'horrific' Vancouver attack

Prime Minister Mark Carney is giving his condolences to victims and their families in the wake of a vehicle attack on the Lapu Lapu Festival in Vancouver killed nine people and injured many more. Carney paused from his election campaign the following morning, cancelling an event in Hamilton to address the public and express condolences to the Filipino Canadian community, before leaving for Saskatoon. (April 27, 2025)
