Quebec officials explain why its numbers are higher than rest of Canada

Quebec surpassed a pair of grim milestones Tuesday after recording 102 more deaths to bring the province’s total to 1,041. In addition, the province also surpassed 20,000 cases, reporting 20,126 confirmed cases of the novel coronavirus. Premier Francois Legault and Dr. Horacio Arruda, director of Quebec public health, explain why Quebec’s numbers are so far off the rest of the country.
