    Rescue helicopter ferries those caught in B.C. slides to safety

    Torrential rains hammered southern British Columbia, prompting flooding and landslides. Almost 300 people, including 50 children, needed to be rescued via a Cormorant helicopter when mud and debris rolled over Highway 7 near Agassiz, trapping their vehicles.
