    Tories trigger committee hearings on Rogers-Shaw deal

    Conservative MP Pierre Poilievre says the Tories will trigger hearings in industry committee on Rogers Communications Inc.'s proposed deal to buy Shaw Communications Inc. Poilievre did not come out for or against the deal, but says it must come with conditions, and left open the possibility that four major telecom providers would remain in Canada.
