Torrential rain in B.C. leads to flooding, mudslides

Torrential rain in B.C. during an "atmospheric river" has led to crews trying to rescue people trapped in up to 100 vehicles. Public Safety Minister Mike Farnworth says a "dynamic" situation is unfolding as crews assess how to safely rescue people trapped between mudslides on a highway in the eastern Fraser Valley, but air rescue could be hampered by strong winds. In Abbotsford, the community is experiencing heavy flooding.
