Travel Trip Pittsburghs 250th

** FILE ** In this file photo from July 25, 1979, the Pittsburgh skyline lies behind the Jones & Laughlin Steel mill along the Monongahela River in Pittsburgh. For years, the city has been synonymous with steel, but now that mill is gone, and it its place is an industrial park that is home to hi-tech initiatives and business incubators. This week, the city that emerged from the French and Indian War to become one of the richest industrial cities in the world and then one of the first major ones to go bankrupt, commemorates its 250th anniversary. And it's as much an occasion for celebrating as it is for soul-searching. (AP Photo/File)
