Trudeau, Ford mark opening of Canada's first full-scale electric vehicle plant

Prime Minister Justin Trudeau and Ontario Premier Doug Ford marked the opening of Canada's first full-scale electric vehicle manufacturing plant in Ingersoll, Ont. The federal government says the General Motors CAMI production plant, which was retooled to build the company's BrightDrop all-electric vehicle brand, is expected to manufacture 50,000 electric vehicles by 2025.
