Trudeau, Legault celebrate new $7B battery factory in Quebec

Prime Minister Justin Trudeau and Quebec Premier François Legault celebrate Swedish manufacturer Northvolt’s announcement that it will build a $7-billion electric vehicle battery factory near Montreal. Legault says investments in EV battery production in Quebec now total $30 billion and are poised to create 16,000 jobs. (Sept. 28, 2023)
