Prime Minister Justin Trudeau has been criticized by the Indian government for remarks he offered in support of protesting Indian farmers. Asked whether he thought his comments were harmful to Canada-India relations, Trudeau doubled down and said Canada will always stand up for human rights and peaceful protests everywhere.
