Trudeau gravel-thrower sentenced to 90 days house arrest

An Ontario judge sentenced the man who threw gravel at Justin Trudeau during a 2021 campaign rally in London, Ont., to 90 days house arrest and one year probation. Justice Kevin McHugh called Shane Marshall's actions anti-democratic and an expression of mob mentality, while his lawyer Luke Reidy framed the assault as a heat-of-the-moment reaction by a man with anger management issues.
