WAREHOUSE FIRE

A dejected firefighter walks away from a 220-thousand square foot warehouse complex that caught on fire on Annacis Island in Delta, B.C. on Tuesday, July 31, 2001. Firefighters could only take a defensive position against this fire which was fueled by paper and paper by-products. Four firefighters were trapped briefly and were treated for smoke inhalation.
