Obit Borlaug

File - Norman E. Borlaug, the American agricultural expert who helped the world develop better grains through the so called "Green Revolution" is shown in this Aug. 19, 1970 file photo. The Nobel Prize-winning agricultural scientist has died in Texas at age 95. Texas A&M University spokeswoman Kathleen Phillips said Borlaug died just before 11 p.m. Saturday Sept. 12, 2009 at his home in Dallas. Known as the father of the "green revolution," Borlaug won the Nobel Peace Prize for his role in combating world hunger. (AP Photo, File)
