Los Angeles-Hall of Justice

FILE - In this Oct. 22, 1942 file photo, actor Errol Flynn is flanked by his attorneys Robert E. Ford, left, and Jerry Giesler, right, as he arrives for an appearance on statutory rape charges at the Hall of Justice in Los Angeles. The Hall of Justice opened in 1926 as an all purpose justice center, providing 17 courtrooms, 750 jail cells, a morgue and offices for law enforcement officials. Its proximity to Hollywood made it a site of famous trials and fictional movie and TV shows. After decades of service and two decades of disuse after a 1994 earthquake, the Hall of Justice has been returned to its former, albeit repurposed, glory. (AP Photo, File)
