AUTOGRAPH FANS GOLFER SIGNATURE TOURNAMENT

Obit Dave Hill

FILE - In this June 1970 file photo, Dave Hill signs autographs for fans as he leaves clubhouse at Hazeltine National Golf Club in Chaska, Minn., before the final round of the U.S. Open golf tournament. Hill, a 13-time winner on the PGA Tour who made three Ryder Cup appearances and won the 1969 Vardon Trophy for the tour's lowest scoring average, has died. He was 74. Hill died Tuesday, Sept. 27, 2011, in Jackson, Mich. He suffered from emphysema for several years, brother Mike Hill--also a former PGA Tour player--told the Jackson Citizen Patriot. (AP Photo/File)
