Obit Dave Hill
FILE - In this June 1970 file photo, Dave Hill dances as his putt misses on 17th green during the second day of the U.S. Open golf tournament in Chaska, Minn. Hill, a 13-time winner on the PGA Tour who made three Ryder Cup appearances and won the 1969 Vardon Trophy for the tour's lowest scoring average, has died. He was 74. Hill died Tuesday, Sept. 27, 2011, in Jackson, Mich. He suffered from emphysema for several years, brother Mike Hill--also a former PGA Tour player--told the Jackson Citizen Patriot. (AP Photo/File)
