Robert Marshall Parole

FILE- In this Dec. 13, 2007 file photo, inmate Robert O. Marshall speaks to the Associated Press in a lawyers conference room at the maximum security New Jersey State Prison in Trenton, N.J. In March 2015, New Jersey’s parole board will consider releasing the 75-year-old former death row inmate who was convicted of orchestrating his wife’s murder in 1984. A federal judge reversed the death penalty in 2004, citing ineffective counsel. Marshall was resentenced to life in prison without parole in 2006. New Jersey abolished the death penalty in 2007.
