Ahead of next week's speech from the throne, a 95-metre wide banner near Parliament Hill today sent a message to Prime Minister Carney, urging him to pick a path: pipelines or climate action. The massive banner in Major's Hill Park in Ottawa featured one arrow pointing to pipelines, facing the U.S. embassy, and the other arrow pointing to climate action, facing Parliament. The banner was endorsed by 12 environmental organizations including Common Horizon, Climate Action Network Canada, Environmental Defence and Music Declares Emergency Canada.
