CP LGBTQ GHANA
An anti-gay bill passed by Ghana's parliament has human-rights groups concerned about an erosion of rights in a country praised for its democratic values. A proposed bill would ban identifying as LGBTQ, and require landlords, parents and employers to report to police anyone they believe is gay. The Center for Democratic Development says it's already causing vigilante justice, while youth say the bill is a distraction from bad economic news. The Canadian Press has prepared a map locating Accra, Ghana. The graphic accompanies Travers-LGBTQ-Ghana
